Blackjack

Objective

It’s simple: The hand closest to 21 wins. Hit or stand to beat the dealer, go over 21 and bust. Win big money doubling down or splitting.

How To Play

Choose your table. Each one is different, so pick the one that fits your bankroll.

Click on your chips to place a bet, then click DEAL. To remove a bet, hold shift or ctrl and click on your wager. The selected chip amount will be subtracted from your wager. Remove all of your bets with the CLEAR BET button.

If the progressive jackpot is active, click PROGRESSIVE for a chance to win the jackpot. In general, this wager costs 1.00. To remove your PROGRESSIVE wager, left-click on the progressive chip.

You're dealt 2 cards to start. If you want to receive another card, click HIT. Continue to HIT until you're happy with your hand, then click STAND. If you go over 21, you bust and lose automatically. When you're finished playing your hand, the dealer plays theirs. The dealer must HIT on 16 or less and must STAND on 17 or more. The dealer plays their hand regardless of other players' hands. If the dealer goes over 21, or cannot beat your hand, you win. If the dealer's total matches yours, you PUSH. A PUSH returns your bet.

A winning hand pays 1:1, except for BLACKJACK (hitting 21 with two cards), which pays 3:2.

When the hand is over, click NEW GAME. Click SAME BET to begin again with the same bet, or click your chips to change your wager.

Splitting Hands

When you’re dealt a pair, you can split the pair by clicking the SPLIT button. Splitting, however, requires another wager equal to the one you made with your initial hand. You can only split once (to a maximum of two hands), and when splitting Aces, each new hand can receive only one more card. Natural 21s occurring on split hands are not considered Blackjack. When betting on split hands, the active hand is at full brightness, while the inactive hand is faded.

Doubling Down

If you’ve got a strong hand (and are feeling lucky), then double down. You’ll double your bet, but only receive one more card. Double down by clicking the DOUBLE button at the appropriate time.

Blackjack Insurance

If the dealer shows an Ace first card up, you're asked if you want to buy insurance. If you think the dealer’s down card will give them Blackjack, accept insurance by clicking YES. Buying insurance will cost you half of your original bet and pay at 2:1 if the dealer gets Blackjack.

Rules

House Settings

  • A virtual card shoe of 8 standard decks of 52 cards.
  • Cards are shuffled after each hand dealt.
  • Progressive Jackpot wager is 1.00. Progressive Jackpot is won on a Blackjack hand of Ace and Jack of Spades.
  • Pairs can be split to a maximum of two hands. When splitting Aces, only one further card will be dealt to each hand. Split hands can be doubled down.

Value Of Cards

  • Aces are worth either 1 or 11. This value will default to 11 unless the hand would otherwise bust, in which case, all Aces will be given a value of 1.
  • Kings, Queens, and Jacks are worth 10.
  • All other cards are counted at face value.

The Object Of The Game

Achieve a higher card count than the dealer by reaching 21, or getting as close to 21 as possible, without going over. If your total count exceeds 21, you bust and lose your bet. You may, at the proper turn of play, stand or draw up one or more cards in order to better your count.

The Betting Limits

Minimum and maximum bets are posted on the launch page of each game.

The Shuffle And Cut

Cards are reshuffled after dealing a percentage of the virtual shoe. As there are no physical cards, there is no cut.

Betting

  • Before the deal begins, each player must place their bet in chips in the circular betting space, directly in front of them.
  • You may not bet over the maximum limit. If you want a higher limit, you can move tables after any hand.

The Play

  • If the dealer's face-up card is a 10 count or an Ace, the hole (face-down card) is checked. If the dealer has a natural 21 (a count of 21 with two cards), this is announced and all wagers are settled. If a player also has a natural 21 (Blackjack) it is a standoff or push and there is no payoff.
  • The dealer wins and collects bets from players not having Blackjack. When the dealer does not hold a natural 21, the player's turn begins. If the player holds a natural 21 (Blackjack) the payout is 3:2. This means that if the player has bet they collect – their own plus an additional . The dealer then burns the two played-out cards.
  • If the player's two cards total less than 21 they may elect to:

Stand. This means to keep your current cards and not receive any further cards from the dealer. This is done when a player is satisfied with their count or fears another card may push them over 21.

Or

Draw. When a player is not satisfied with their count, they may “hit”. The next card of the virtual deck is then dealt face up to the player. Although the cards are dealt one at a time, the player may continue to draw as many as they like. When they believe their count is as good as it will get, they “stand”. If they draw a card that puts their count over 21, they bust – and lose their bet.

The Dealer's Turn At Play

  • If a player busts, the dealer's hand is counted, the cards are discarded and all wagers collected. However, if a player's hand is still active, the dealer plays out their hand.
  • If the dealer’s count is 17, 18, 19 or 20, they must stand.
  • If the dealer’s count is 16 or less, they must draw, and continue to draw, until their count reaches 17 or more – at which point they must stick. If the dealer holds a soft 17 (a count that includes an Ace), they must stick. This also applies to a soft 18, 19 or 20.
  • The Blackjack dealer has no choice of whether to stand or draw. The dealer’s play is pre-determined. Since all the dealer's cards are exposed at their turn of play, they have no opportunity for any departure from these rules. The rule requiring the dealer to hit on 16 or less and stay on 17, 18, 19, 20 or 21 is standard in all major casinos.

Final Settlement

At the end of their play, the dealer pays hands that have a higher count than theirs (with an amount equal to the bet each player placed) and collects bets from hands showing a lesser count. If a player and dealer have the same count, it is a push and the original bet is returned to the player. If the dealer busts, they pay off surviving active hands an amount equal to each player's bet.

Splitting Pairs

  • Any two cards that hold the same value may be treated as a pair. Thus, any two cards each having a value of 10 (such as a ten and Jack, Jack and Queen, or Queen and King) may be treated as a pair. Because Blackjack is played with more than one deck, identical cards may also be dealt (i.e. two 4 of Hearts) as a hand, and may also be split.
  • A player who receives two cards forming a pair may separate the two cards and treat each card as the first card dealt, in two separate hands. This is called splitting pairs. When pairs are split, the player's original bet is placed beneath one hand and an equal wager must be made on the other hand.
  • The player is then dealt one face-up card on the hand on their right and must play out this hand.
  • The first hand must be played to completion before the adjacent split hand is dealt a second card. Each split hand must be played in its proper order.
  • When a player splits a pair of Aces, they are only permitted to draw one card to each split Ace.
  • If a point (picture card) or ten or Ace is part of a split hand, and the player makes a two-card count of 21, it is not a Blackjack and the player is paid off at even money.

The Double Down

After being dealt two cards (which may be any two cards), a player may elect to double his bet and draw one additional card. This is known as a double down or down for double. A player, before calling “Double Down” or “Down for Double,” must double their original bet. They are then dealt a third and final card, with no further option to hit. This is also available on split hands after the first extra card.

Insurance Betting

When the dealer's face-up card is an Ace, players may make an insurance bet against losing to the dealer's possible natural 21. A player who wants insurance places an amount equal to half their present wager on their own hand.

After this bet is made, the dealer looks at their down card. If it's a 10 count, they have Blackjack. The insurance bettor is paid off at the rate of 2 to 1. If the down card is not a 10-count card, the player loses their insurance bet and the player's turn begins.

Progressive Jackpot

If a player chooses to make a wager on the progressive jackpot, a charge of 1.00 will be taken from their bank. If the player is dealt a natural Blackjack, consisting of the Jack and Ace of spades, the player wins the progressive jackpot.

NOTE: Malfunction voids all pays and play.

The progressive jackpot is a set percentage of the charge amount.

European Roulette

Objective

Guess where the ball will land on the wheel – and win. There are 37 numbers and a myriad of betting combinations. Win big if you make the right call on where the ball will fall!

How To Play

  • Click on the chip you'd like to bet.
  • Move the chip to where you'd like to bet on the board and click again to place. To remove a bet, hold ctrl or shift while clicking a wager and the current chip value will be removed from that wager. Alternatively, click CLEAR BET to clear all bets on the board.
  • Click SPIN. When the ball comes to rest, all bets are settled.
  • Click on NEW GAME to begin another round. Clicking SAME BET will repeat your most recent bet for the new round.

Betting In Roulette

  • All bets are placed prior to the wheel being spun. No bets can be placed, or moved, once the wheel is in motion.
  • There are two main classes of bet in Roulette: Outside bets and Inside Bets. To find the Inside bet fields, bet types, bets that have been placed and the value of that space – use the mouse to hover over the space. The square is highlighted to indicate the field it covers. Details are also provided in the rules document.

Winning In Roulette

After the spinning wheel comes to rest, there are three things that indicate a win. First, the table marker moves to the winning number on the table. Second, a close-up of the wheel fades in. Third, the History screen updates. The History screen lists the winning number. Red numbers are listed on the left in red and black numbers are listed on the right in yellow. 0 is listed in green, down the centre of the screen.

Rules

Players make bets by placing chips on spaces, in any manner permitted by the rules.

The dealer spins the wheel counter clockwise, then flips the ball onto the bowl's back track, so that it travels clockwise. When the ball falls and comes to rest between any two partitions of the wheel, it marks the winning number (including zero) and the winning colour. A marker is placed on the winning number. All losing bets are collected, not disturbing the chips resting on winning spaces. The winning bets are paid out. 0 wins for the bank on all bets, except those placed on 0 and combinations that include 0.

Outside Bets

An Outside bet does not rely on a specific number – or set of numbers. “Odd” or “Even” bets are examples of outside bets.

In the event that a player places an Outside bet, and the ball lands on 0, the player gets back half their bet.

Odd/Even Bets

  • Covers all Odd/Even numbers
  • Pays 1:1
  • Odd/Even bets do not cover 0

Black/Red Bets

  • Covers all Black/Red numbers
  • Pays 1:1
  • Black/Red bets do not cover 0

1-18/19-36 Bets

  • Covers either numbers 1-18 or 19-36.
  • Pays 1:1.
  • This bet does not cover the 0.

Column Bets

  • Covers 12 non-sequential numbers.
  • Pays 2:1.
  • To make a Column bet, place your chips in one of the three boxes marked “2 to 1” on the number grid. You're betting the ball will land on one of the 12 numbers above the box. 0 is not included in Column Bets.

Dozen Bets

  • Covers 12 sequential numbers.
  • Pays 2:1.
  • To make a Dozen Bet, place your chips in one of the three boxes labelled “1st 12”, “2nd 12”, or “3rd 12.” If the ball lands within the marked range (1-12, 13-24, 25-36), you win. 0 cannot be marked by a Dozen Bet.

Inside Bets

Inside bets are placed “inside” the Roulette board on one of, or on a combination of, the 37 numbers. For instance, a bet on the number “12” is considered an inside bet.

Straight Bet

  • A wager placed on any single number including 0.
  • Pays 35:1.
  • To place a Straight bet, simply drop a chip in the specific number box.

Split Bet

  • A bet placed on two adjacent numbers.
  • Pays 17:1.
  • To make a Split Bet, place a chip on the line between the two numbers on which you wish to bet.

Street Bet

  • Street bets cover a row of three consecutive numbers.
  • Pays 11:1.
  • Street bets cover a line of three numbers and are placed on the outside line of the appropriate row. For example, to bet 1, 2, 3, place your chip on the outside line of the 3 box.

Corner Bet

  • Marks four numbers.
  • Pays 8:1.
  • To place a Corner Bet, set the chip on the intersection of the four numbers. All numbers pay 8:1.

Four-Number Bet

  • Covers 0, 1, 2, 3.
  • Pays 8:1.
  • This bet is placed on the outside line, where 0 and 3 intersect.

Line Bet

  • Bets on six consecutive numbers.
  • Pays 5:1.
  • To place a bet on two rows of three numbers (4, 5, 6 and 7, 8, 9), place a chip on the outside line where the two rows intersect.

Rules

Equipment and House Settings

The single player draw poker variation is played with a virtual deck of 52 cards. Some games (Joker Poker, Deuces Wild, Deuces and Jokers) feature wild cards, where others (Jacks or Better, All American) don't. The stakes of the game are configurable, with the house selecting the value of the chips to be wagered.

Object of the Game

To obtain the best possible poker hand from the original cards dealt and the optional draw of up to 5 cards.

Betting

Begin play by placing your bet using the buttons at the base of the machine. You can wager up to 5 coins, each of which is valued in the amount selected.

The Play

You're dealt 5 cards face up. You have the option to keep your cards or draw up to 5 more. All cards that you want to replace must be relinquished before the draw cards are dealt. Video poker keeps all cards indicated by the “HELD” image and discards all others. Fresh cards will be dealt to replace all discards.

The Settlement

Once your hand is finalised, you'll be paid out according to the pay table below. Otherwise, the machine will collect your bet. You have the option to play with the maximum wager by clicking the MAX BET button, or click on the BET ONE button to select another wager amount.

Payouts

The original bet is NOT returned with the Payout. As an example, the payout table from Jacks or better is below. Individual Payout tables are available on each machine.

Hand Payout
Jacks or Better 1:1
2 Pair 2:1
3 of a Kind 3:1
Straight 4:1
Flush 5:1
Full House 8:1
4 of a Kind 25:1
Straight Flush 50:1
Royal Flush 250:1

Progressive Jackpots

To participate in a progressive jackpot, you need to MAX BET. If you choose to wager enough for a progressive jackpot, then an operator configured percentage of every MAX BET wagered will go into the jackpot. If you hit your machine's jackpot on a MAX BET, you win 100% of the progressive jackpot. If you bet less than MAX BET, and receive the top symbols, you'll receive an alternative prize, listed on the pay table.

NOTE: In the rare event that a progressive jackpot is simultaneously won by more than one player, the prize is split between the winners.

NOTE: Jackpot amounts update when the player opens the game and any time the player chooses to bet. If a player does not bet for an extended period of time, the jackpot will update with contributions made by other players, every 30 seconds. This includes any updates to the jackpot amount.

NOTE: A configured percentage of each MAX BET wager is contributed to the jackpot. A percentage of that amount is added to the prize available for players to win.

NOTE: Malfunction voids all pays and play.
